Hamilton Park Races
Hamilton Park is just off the M74 which means we're so close to and easy to get to from Glasgow , but once inside it seems like a different world. Manicured lawns and leafy paddocks. Dazzling silks and powerful thoroughbreds. Come racing in 2004 and see for yourself.

Season highlights include the famous Saints & Sinners Charity Evening Meeting on Wednesday 9th June and Velvet Fair Friday Evening on 16th July. Kids are welcome anytime (and can come for free!), but our Family Day on Sunday 2nd May and Sunday Mail Family Night on Saturday 10th July are not to be missed. The season rounds off on Monday 27th September with our Festival Finale.

Golf

This year Royal Troon hosted the world famous Open Golf Championship. Glasgow 's proximity to the motorways allows you to be amongst some of the greatest links golf in Scotland along the Ayrshire coast in just over half an hour. And allows you to combine some outstanding golf with a great city experience.

Massively underestimated – and living rather in the shadow of these great Ayrshire coast links - are some truly wonderful 18 hole heathland and parkland courses in and around the city itself. ‘Must plays' include Milngavie, Killerrmont, Haggs Castle , Westerwood near Cumbernauld, Whitecraigs, East Renfrewshire and Pollok - to name but just a few.
